Following a drone strike on the house of a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly member, the Salarzai tribe convened a jirga in Bajaur district, where eight key demands and several decisions were presented to the state.

1. The jirga stated that the Salarzai tribe has always remained loyal to the state and has made sacrifices far beyond its capacity. Because of this loyalty, the tribe has repeatedly become a target of Taliban, a group which, according to them, the state has “surrendered to,” whereas Salarzai has never bowed to them. Despite these sacrifices, the tribe said they are now forced to request that the state must not target its own loyalists with bombs, drones, targeted killings, or any other means.

2. The jirga said that the recent drone strike on the home of Anwar Zeb Khan was unprecedented in the area. They clarified that the attack was not only on Anwar Zeb Khan’s household, but an attack on the entire Salarzai tribe. They demanded that the government form an independent inquiry team to determine from where the drone originated, who carried out the strike, and to ensure that such incidents never occur again.

3. The tribe said that the state had previously confiscated weapons from the Salarzai, weapons that the tribe had long used to defend their area in conflict zones. The Salarzai demanded that these weapons be returned immediately.

4. The jirga added that the Salarzai had handed over several militants alive to the authorities, but to this day, the authorities have neither informed the tribe of the militants’ identities nor updated them on what action was taken. They demanded transparency regarding these arrests.

5. According to the jirga, extortion has reached its peak in KP, particularly in the tribal districts and especially in Bajaur. They claimed that the drone attack itself was linked to extortion. They further alleged that the state has remained silent on the issue, and that if the state has no involvement in extortion, then it must take immediate and decisive action to end it.

6. The jirga demanded that peace must be immediately restored in Bajaur.

7. They stated that target killings and bombings must be stopped immediately, and if the perpetrators are not identified, then FIRs should be allowed against anyone, even senior officials such as the DG ISPR or ISI officers, without restrictions.

8. According to the jirga, the state has been lodging FIRs against members of the Salarzai tribe and targeting them unjustly. They demanded that such actions must stop immediately.

The Salarzai tribe demanded that the state take urgent steps to fulfill all eight points and formally assure the tribe that these demands will be met. The jirga further warned that if the state fails to act, then all provincial and federal budgets allocated to security forces in Salarzai should instead be handed over to the tribe, and the forces should immediately withdraw from Salarzai territory. They claimed that once forces leave, the tribe will establish peace not only in Salarzai but across Mohmand.

They also warned that if the demands are not fulfilled, the entire Salarzai tribe will boycott the state, saying: “We are loyal to the state, but the state cannot give us peace.” From now on, anyone within Salarzai territory who facilitates either the state or the Taliban in subversive activities will be expelled from the area, and only then, they said, will peace be established.

In the concluding remarks, tribal elders added:
“The state tells us that the Taliban are in Afghanistan, but we know where their families are and who their facilitators are. From today onwards, [if the state remains paralysed], we will take our revenge ourselves from these facilitators.”

Militants ambushed a security forces convoy in the Baka Khel area of Bannu, firing from a nearby orchard. As a result, one soldier was martyred, while two others sustained injuries, one of whom is reported to be in critical condition.
In response, security forces conducted a hexacopter-enabled engagement on the orchard, with reports indicating militant injuries.

Furthermore, the statement provides instructions for militants operating in Afghanistan.

It is reported that in Tirah, Khyber District, a jirga (council) was underway between the local Ulema of Tirah and TLIP militants to discuss measures for maintaining peace and security.

During the proceedings, a mortar shell, fired from an unknown direction, landed in the area, injuring Maulana Hazrat Khan Muneeb, Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, District Khyber’s personal security guard, Maulana Muhammad Arif Malak Din Khel.

At least two police personnel were martyred and several others injured when around three dozen militants, affiliated with Kazim and Darwish, attacked a police post in Chinarak, Sadda, Kurram district.
The post was overrun by the militants, who also seized weapons and equipment. The police were forced to take refuge in the nearby mountains, while militant sources claim that two officers were captured alive.
Four attackers were also shot dead during the assault.

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack, stating that its newly formed unit, the Saado Operational Battalion (SOB), launched an assault on the main compound housing foreign staff and engineers linked to the Saindak and Reko Diq mining projects in Nokundi. The area hosts strategic mineral sites where both Chinese firms and a Canadian multinational company operate.

This incident reportedly marks the BLF’s first known suicide attack, carried out by a female operative identified as Zareena Rafiq, alias Tranag Mahoo, from Kech district.

Previously, such attacks had been conducted by the BLA’s Majeed Brigade, indicating a potential shift in BLF’s operational tactics. This is also the fifth documented suicide attack executed by a female bomber among Baloch separatist outfits.

Following media reports of an explosion at the entrance of the Directorate of Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Faryab province, the Ministry confirmed the incident, stating:
“Yesterday evening, at around 6:00 PM, an assailant attempting to breach the Directorate’s compound in Maimana city was intercepted before reaching the target.”

No additional information was released regarding the method of attack, the assailant’s status, or any potential casualties.

According to Afghan sources, a senior delegation from Afghanistan has traveled to Saudi Arabia for high-level engagements.

The delegation is said to be led by Anas Haqqani, along with Deputy Interior Minister Rahmatullah Najib and Foreign Ministry spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi, all of whom have arrived in Riyadh.

Afghan Sources further claims that a Pakistani delegation is also present in Saudi Arabia. With Riyadh acting as mediator, Kabul and Islamabad have reopened channels of communication following a period of escalating tensions.

While the agenda of the talks has not been officially disclosed, individuals familiar with the process indicate that the primary objective is to de-escalate recent security frictions and establish a coherent framework for structured, direct dialogue between the two sides.

Pakistani sources have not yet issued any public statement on the matter.

A police vehicle was struck by a suicide bombing near the cemetery in Bakhmal Ahmadzai, Lakki Marwat. According to initial reports, one suicide attacker detonated himself, while a second accomplice managed to escape from the scene.

At least six police personnel sustained injuries and were shifted to Tajori Hospital for treatment. One of the injured later succumbed to his wounds. A joint search operation by police and local residents is currently underway to track down the fleeing attacker.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), through its media outlet Umar Media, has released a self-produced report detailing its operational activities for the month of November 2025. According to the group’s claims, they conducted a total of 295 attacks during the month.

For context, the TTP’s previously published report covered September 2025, reporting 359 attacks. The group did not release a report for October, due to negotiation phase. Comparing November to September, this represents an 18% decrease in claimed operational activity.

In November, the TTP claimed attacks across three provinces of Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, and Balochistan. A geographic breakdown of the claimed incidents indicates that KP remained the most affected region. Within KP, the reported distribution of attacks is as follows:

-North Waziristan: 69
-Tank: 38
-Bajaur: 22
-Chitral: 16
-Dera Ismail Khan: 14
-Khyber: 13
-Bannu: 10
-Lakki Marwat: 7

In comparison, the group had claimed attacks in 18 districts of KP in September, whereas in November, this number fell to 13 districts, indicating a slight contraction in geographic reach. Outside KP, the TTP claimed one attack in Sindh (Naushahro Feroze) and one attack in Balochistan (Pishin). No activity was reported in Punjab or Gilgit during November, unlike September.

Regarding tactics and methods, the majority of reported incidents involved sniper or “laser” attacks (72), which the group appears to highlight to signal capability. Other frequently employed tactics included guerrilla-style assaults (56), grenade or bomb detonations (53), and ambushes (37), reflecting repeatable operational approaches. Less frequent methods included confrontational attacks (35) and targeted assassinations (24), while 'missile' attacks (13) and retaliatory attacks (5) were relatively rare.

It should be emphasized that independent verification of most of these claims is lacking. Nonetheless, the data provides insight into the group’s self-perceived operational reach, preferred tactics, and strategic signaling.

Police have confirmed that the suicide bombers on a motorcycle were stopped by security forces. Their likely target was a jirga of Marwat-Bhittani tribes, who recently worked with security forces and formed local peace committees against the Taliban.

The attackers were ordered to get off the motorcycle and raise their hands. When they tried to run, one of them detonated a suicide vest, causing casualties.
