Seven explosions were reported on Saturday in Quetta and Dera Murad Jamali, but no deaths occurred in any of the incidents.
The first blast happened on Qambrani Road in Quetta when attackers threw a grenade near a police checkpost. Soon after, a second explosion took place on the same road when militants blew up a motorcycle fitted with an IED as a CTD vehicle passed by. The CTD team remained safe.
Later in the day, an IED planted on the railway track near Lohr Karez exploded and damaged a section of the main line, stopping all train movement toward Quetta. Repair work started immediately.
Another grenade was thrown at Manzoor Shaheed Police Station, but it did not explode and was safely defused. A similar grenade attack took place in the Kechi Beg area targeting a police patrol, but again no casualties were reported.

Following a drone strike on the house of a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly member, the Salarzai tribe convened a jirga in Bajaur district, where eight key demands and several decisions were presented to the state.

They demanded that the government form an independent inquiry team to determine from where the drone originated, who carried out the strike, and to ensure that such incidents never occur again.
3. The tribe said that the state had previously confiscated weapons from the Salarzai, weapons that the tribe had long used to defend their area in conflict zones. The Salarzai demanded that these weapons be returned immediately.
4. The jirga added that the Salarzai had handed over several militants alive to the authorities, but to this day, the authorities have neither informed the tribe of the militants’ identities nor updated them on what action was taken. They demanded transparency regarding these arrests.
