Due to a militant attack on the 24-inch main transmission line of Sui Gas near Matani, Peshawar, gas supply to Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Nowshera, Charsadda, and adjacent areas has been temporarily disrupted. The affected line, which transports gas from southern regions to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been isolated at Darra Adam Khel and Matani to ensure safety and facilitate urgent repair work.

As a result, all CNG stations across KP, including Mansehra and Hazara, will remain closed for one day. Authorities have issued strict instructions that no CNG compressors should be operated until further notice, due to a high risk of explosion from air-gas mixtures in the pipelines.

To mitigate the disruption, Sui Northern Gas has activated an alternative supply route via a 16-inch line from the C-Leg, crossing the Indus River, to supply Nowshera, Peshawar, and Mardan. However, due to the limited capacity of this backup line, gas supply will be restricted exclusively to domestic consumers, with fixed timings for household use.

Emergency repair operations on the main transmission line are scheduled to begin. Sui Gas teams are working round-the-clock to restore full supply as swiftly as possible. Despite these measures, several locations have reported shortages at CNG stations, leading to significant vehicle congestion along main roads.

Within the jurisdiction of Ghori Wala Police Station, a quadcopter attack targeted the Sheikh Landak police post, Bannu , resulting in injuries to two police personnel.

The attack has been claimed by TTP shadow group Lashkar-e-Difa al-Quds, which stated that it conducted a mortar shell assault on the post. It is noteworthy that the TTP, despite employing quadcopters in its attacks, has not claimed their use and typically attributes such attacks to conventional weapons.

A recent video from the Chaman border shows a local resident reporting that he had arrived at the camp, but civilians and refugee convoys are retreating due to circulating rumors of a possible confrontation between Pakistani and Taliban border forces.

It should be noted that the video is nearly three hours old, and since then the situation has remained stable. However, the rumors have caused concern among the local population regarding potential developments.

Statement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan:

On the night of November 26, 2025, an armed attack was carried out from the territory of Afghanistan on the LLC Shohin SM employees' camp located within the control area of the 1st Border Guard Post “Istiqlol” of the “Yol” Border Detachment in the Khatlon region.


This attack was carried out using an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with grenades and firearms. As a result of the attack, three employees of the LLC Shahin SM of Chinese citizenship were killed.

Despite the constant efforts by Tajikistan to maintain security and create an atmosphere of peace and stability in the border areas between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, the disruptive actions by criminal groups located in the territory of Afghanistan still continue.

The Tajik side, expressing deep concerns, strongly condemns these acts of terrorist groups and calls on the ruling Afghan authorities to take effective measures to ensure stability and security on the state border between two neighboring countries.

TTP’s media outlet, Umar Media, has released a video claiming the execution of an individual identified as Farman, son of Shah Jan, a resident of Mohabbat Khel, which they assert is in Sherkoh Hassankhel in FR Peshawar. The group accused him of acting as a government informant and of involvement in killing of its operatives.

TTP Umar Media frequently disseminates such videos as part of a psychological warfare campaign aimed at instilling fear and exerting influence over local populations.

In recent days, there were unverified reports of a security operation in Hassankhel targeting associates of Commander Salman (alias Siddiq) and Saad (alias Shah Guli). It is possible that the group’s video references these events.

In the Jarbhanda Malkana area of Salarzai Tehsil, Bajaur District, armed assailants opened fire on a Quran vendor, killing Nazir Hussain, son of Mola Bakhsh, a resident of Attock, who was selling copies of the Holy Quran.

In a targeted armed attack at Madina Market, Tank, gunmen opened fire inside a mobile phone shop, fatally wounding the owner who was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the same assault, another individual, Sohail Mehsud, resident of South Waziristan Upper, was critically injured by gunfire. He was immediately evacuated to Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

One individual sustained injuries in an explosion near the residence of Anwarzeb Khan, a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Bajaur district. The MPA was not present at the location at the time of the incident. Authorities are still determining the exact nature and cause of the blast.

For the first time since 28 October, the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), through its official media wing Umar Media, has formally claimed responsibility for today’s attacks. Notably, the same attacks had already been claimed throughout the day by recently emerged shadow groups, thereby confirming their affiliation with the TTP.
