Three Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel, Altaf Khan Mehsud (Tank), Riyasat Khan (Mansehra), and Alamzeb Khan Mehsud (South Waziristan), were martyred in a suicide attack on the FC Headquarters in Peshawar’s Saddar area on Monday morning.
The assault occurred shortly after 0800 hours, when a militant disguised in a chaddor approached the main gate and detonated an explosive device. Two additional militants attempted to breach the perimeter moments later but were neutralised by FC personnel.
“Three militants launched an attack on the headquarters. One detonated at the gate, while the other two were eliminated during the response,” Peshawar CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad stated.
The CCPO confirmed three FC personnel were martyred and two others injured. A full clearance operation was carried out.
On prior threat alerts, he added that the force was maintaining a heightened security posture, which prevented the attackers from entering the compound.

The majority of the losses are linked to affiliates of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, notably JAMK’s Al-Badr Battalion and JFM’s Al-Hamza/Khalid bin Waleed Battalions, identified as dedicated suicide bomber units.

Takhti Khel elders have formally withdrawn from the Lakki Marwat Peace Committee, asserting that the tribe has no link to the Aman Lashkar accused of killing TTP commanders. They also warned the committee’s leader, Inamullah alias Garobai, not to attribute the recent militant killings to their tribe.
The elders stressed that Takhti Khel will oppose anyone, whether militants or security forces, who disturbs their peace. While the Garobai-led peace committee had previously coordinated with security forces in multiple counter-militant operations, the Takhti Khel leadership now distances itself from the latest clashes and maintains a stance of neutrality.

He was a senior figure within the HGB affiliated Jabhat Ansar al-Mahdi Khorasan Group (Gurbaz faction) and served as an operative within the group’s 'suicide-attack brigade'.
He was a close associate of Umar Mansoor Haqqani, the former chief of JAMK’s Al-Badr 'suicide Kandhak,' who was also neutralized in September 2025.
