The spokesperson of the United Baloch Army (UBA), Mazar Baloch, stated that four of its militants , Mudasir Shahwani (alias Sarbuland Baloch, BLF), Shahbaz Khan Badani Mari (alias Pir Jan), Shakir Jatoi Baloch (alias Rodin Baloch), and Haris Muhammad Shehi Baloch (alias Aftab Baloch) , were killed in a strike on the mountainous region of Koh Nagai in Qalat on 4 November.

According to a press release, the CTD Bannu and Lakki Marwat Police conducted intelligence-based operation in Sarai Naurang, eliminating two wanted militants, Muhammad Suhail alias Ahmad and Azmatullah alias Hafiz. Both individuals were implicated in multiple attacks on police and security forces, targeted killings, assaults on police installations, and an attack inside a mosque.
Security personnel also recovered a Kalashnikov rifle, a 9mm pistol, two magazines each, a mobile phone, and two identification cards linked to a proscribed organization.

However, reports indicate that Arfan is actually the associate of another “Good Taliban” commander, Sameer, and that a longstanding personal rivalry between Saraksh and Mohtaj is the real reason behind the incident.
Sources suggest that Saraksh used the song as a pretext to target Arfan and settle this ongoing dispute.

An Anti-Terrorism Court sentenced Muhammad Tahir (27), a TTP operative from Heerabad, Hyderabad, to 31 years in prison on multiple terrorism and explosives charges. Arrested by the CTD on July 8, 2025, Tahir was found with two kilograms of explosives and live electronic devices. He was convicted and transferred to Central Prison Sahiwal to serve his sentence.

The Education Department has approved the recruitment of 30,000 retired military and police personnel on daily wages to serve as security guards in every school and college. Institutions must raise boundary walls to eight feet with an additional two feet of barbed wire, install modern CCTV cameras, ensure UPS and battery backups, and set up control rooms with emergency contact numbers staffed throughout the day.
Additional security measures include mandatory metal detectors, walk-through gates, and visitor registers recording names and CNIC numbers. Schools must display rescue training and anti-terror guidelines, while students will not be allowed to leave during breaks and outsiders will be barred from entry. Assistant district education officers and higher officials will conduct daily inspections, and disciplinary action will be taken against non-compliant school heads or officials who fail to submit required reports.
