Last night in Lakki Marwat’s Wanda Karim Khan area, off-duty Frontier Corps personnel Basir Khan and his brother Ihsanullah were returning home when they encountered armed robbers on the road.
When they did not stop, the robbers opened fire, leading to an exchange of gunfire. During the incident, one robber, identified as Raheel Azgar Khail, was killed. Frontier Corps member Basir Khan was killed in the exchange, while his brother Ihsanullah was critically injured and later died from his wounds.

He said the Taliban seek “balanced” relations with other countries, and warned against any efforts to undermine their control, saying they have “sacrificed thousands” for it.
