In these propaganda videos, all of these individuals are shown alongside armed men at undisclosed locations. They collectively assert that they are operating entirely within Pakistan and not from Afghan territory.
The release of these propaganda
videos appears to be a calculated response to recent diplomatic pressures arising from negotiations involving the Afghan Taliban. Both the TTP and Afghan Taliban seem to be using these recordings to publicly reinforce and assert the TTP’s operational presence inside Pakistan, independent of Afghan territory.
