The October issue of AQIS Nawa-e-Ghazwa-e-Hind includes a commentary by Abu Usama Abdul Aziz al-Hallaq under the ongoing series "Shaam mein Jihad ka Mustaqbil." In this installment, al-Hallaq offers a critical assessment of the situation in Syria, particularly focusing on Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the emerging governance structures in the northwest.

He contends that HTS carries both a religious and administrative responsibility to protect all fighters residing in its territory, yet accuses its leadership of remaining passive in response to U.S. airstrikes targeting non-HTS militants. According to him, such silence reflects a degree of political caution or accommodation toward Western powers.

The commentary further describes the “new government” in Sham, broadly referring to the HTS-linked civil administration, as increasingly pragmatic and conciliatory in its dealings with international actors, including Western countries and Israel. Al-Hallaq suggests that external powers may be attempting to influence or reshape the leadership to align more closely with regional political objectives.

Overall, the piece characterizes both HTS and the new administration as departing from their earlier revolutionary posture and failing to safeguard elements of the broader militant landscape in Syria, warning that such pragmatism could undermine the long-term trajectory of the movement.

In its October issue, AQIS Nawa-e-Ghazwa-e-Hind features an article by Muinuddin Shami commenting on the recent Pakistan–Afghanistan tensions. The author reiterates familiar anti-Pakistan narratives, alleging that Islamabad is acting in alignment with U.S. interests against Afghanistan. The piece characterizes Afghanistan–India relations as primarily commercial in nature, describing the issue as political rather than religious. It also criticizes certain Afghan circles for directing hostility toward Pakistan, particularly against Punjabis and argues that equating Pakistan with Israel, as voiced by some Taliban officials, is an unfair and exaggerated comparison, while reminding readers of Pakistan’s past support to Afghanistan.

The October issue of AQIS Nawa-e-Ghazwa-e-Hind features three separate columns by Areeb Athar, Muinuddin Shami, and Shaheen Siddiqui discussing the “I Love Muhammad” campaign in India. The writers allege a government-led crackdown involving arrests, FIRs, and property demolitions, portraying these actions as evidence of systemic anti-Muslim bias linked to the policies of the ruling party. The articles emphasize public protests and community reactions, warning that such measures may contribute to growing polarization and radicalization among segments of India’s Muslim population.

Both the TTP and Afghan Taliban seem to be using these recordings to publicly reinforce and assert the TTP’s operational presence inside Pakistan, independent of Afghan territory.
