Sindh Rangers have arrested three wanted TTP militants in an operation on Manghopir Road, Kanwari Colony, Karachi. The arrested militants β Zaidullah, Noor Zada, and Usman β are close associates of TTP leader Shams-ul-Qayyum alias Zawil.
During interrogation, they revealed that they provided local residentsβ numbers to Shams-ul-Qayyum for extortion calls. They also admitted involvement in extortion from drug dealers and land grabbing.
Noor Zadaβs brother, Khanzada alias Hanzala, and Usmanβs brother, Umar Khitab, were previously TTP operatives and have been killed. Zaidullah was also wanted by Excise Police Korangi and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

A Karachi court has acquitted Sarmad Ali Raza and Ghani Aman Chandio, suspected members of the Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA), in a possession of explosives case.
The suspects were arrested by the CTD in Machchar Colony, following a secret tip-off, and a hand grenade was recovered from their possession, later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad. The court accepted the defenseβs claim of false implication and acquitted them.
Previously, CTD had alleged their involvement in past terrorism cases in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Larkana.
