An undated audio message circulating on social media, purportedly from a Tajik border official, warns the Taliban against continuing gold mining operations in the Awez area of Shahr-e Buzurg district, Badakhshan. In the recording, the officer alleges that Taliban mining activities have encroached 100–200 meters into Tajik territory, causing alterations to the river’s course. He further warns that Tajik forces will be compelled to take action if the situation is not addressed promptly. The official also names Badakhshan’s Director of Mines and Petroleum, Shafiqullah Hafizi, accusing him of refusing to coordinate with his Tajik counterparts.

Sindh Rangers have arrested three wanted TTP militants in an operation on Manghopir Road, Kanwari Colony, Karachi. The arrested militants – Zaidullah, Noor Zada, and Usman – are close associates of TTP leader Shams-ul-Qayyum alias Zawil.

During interrogation, they revealed that they provided local residents’ numbers to Shams-ul-Qayyum for extortion calls. They also admitted involvement in extortion from drug dealers and land grabbing.

Noor Zada’s brother, Khanzada alias Hanzala, and Usman’s brother, Umar Khitab, were previously TTP operatives and have been killed. Zaidullah was also wanted by Excise Police Korangi and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

A Karachi court has acquitted Sarmad Ali Raza and Ghani Aman Chandio, suspected members of the Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA), in a possession of explosives case.

The suspects were arrested by the CTD in Machchar Colony, following a secret tip-off, and a hand grenade was recovered from their possession, later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad. The court accepted the defense’s claim of false implication and acquitted them.

Previously, CTD had alleged their involvement in past terrorism cases in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Larkana.

Four people were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in the basement of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

According to initial reports, the blast occurred during maintenance work on the central air conditioning system, causing tremors across the building.

Following the explosion, lawyers and staff members evacuated the premises and moved to open areas for safety
