Pactolus Strategy Update
As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and stronger risk management, we have completed a comprehensive review of the Pactolus strategy and implemented several important enhancements designed to improve its ability to adapt to changing market conditions, particularly during periods of high volatility.
The main updates include:
✅ Introducing a Hard Stop to limit losses during exceptional market conditions.
✅ Implementing a Trend Filter to reduce entries against unusually strong market trends.
✅ Enhancing market monitoring before and during trading to improve decision-making in changing market environments.
✅ Reducing the maximum number of positions to 4 trades per trading on same direction, helping to reduce overall market exposure.
✅ Restructuring trade management, where the first three trades follow the normal strategy, while the fourth and final trade is reserved as a risk management position when required. No additional trades will be opened beyond this limit.
✅ Evaluating and using Hedging strategies only in exceptional situations where there are clear indications of a continued move against existing positions, as an additional risk management tool rather than a standard trading practice.
