The Catholic Church carries the torch of Rome as a civilianization builder
The nations left as a result of their expansion remain and those nations went on to make new ones
Romes influence lives
What have you done?
You brag about your supposed past glories as prophets and warriors
But where are the many jewish civilizations
Where are the all the jewish empires that benefited humanity
Your kind are a tick riding off the success of great civilization without them to sustain you there would be nothing left of the jewish race
God has chosen a new chosen race
The Believers, the Christians, the Church
In others words
You are finished

DID YOU KNOW THE βRAPTUREβ AS MANY PREACH ITβ¦ ISNβT ACTUALLY IN THE BIBLE?
Catholics Online Class
π Letβs look deeper, together, and youβll see why the Church has never taught a secret escape.
Letβs open our Bibles, but also keep our hearts and minds open.
βοΈ CHAPTER 1: WHAT PROTESTANTS MEAN BY βRAPTUREβ
Many Protestants (especially Evangelicals and Pentecostals) teach that before a terrible 7-year period of chaos and Antichrist rule:
Jesus will return secretly, and take away (βraptureβ) all true Christians to heaven, leaving the rest behind.
They claim this is based on 1 Thessalonians 4:16β17, where Paul says:
βThe Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are aliveβ¦ will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.β
It sounds dramatic, and it is!
But is it a secret escape before tribulation, as some claim?
Letβs now discover the real stuff. π
π CHAPTER 2: WHAT PAUL IS ACTUALLY SAYING
Letβs break down 1 Thessalonians 4:16β17 line by line:
βThe Lord Himself will descendβ¦β
This is not a spiritual or invisible coming. Itβs bodily, just like the Ascension in Acts 1:11 promised.
ββ¦with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.β
There is nothing secret about this! This is loud, glorious, cosmic, like Sinai, not a whisper.
It matches Matthew 24:30β31, where Jesus says:
βThey will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heavenβ¦ with a loud trumpet call, and He will gather His elect.β
Same trumpet. Same return. Same moment.
ββ¦the dead in Christ will rise first.β
This is the bodily resurrection of the faithful, not before tribulation, but at the end of history.
It matches John 6:40,
βI will raise him up on the last day.β
ββ¦then we who are aliveβ¦ will be caught upβ¦ to meet the Lord in the air.β
Hereβs where βraptureβ comes from: the Latin rapiemur (caught up).
But in Greek, the word used is αΌΟάνΟΞ·ΟΞΉΟ (apantΔsis), a term used for welcoming a victorious king into a city.
It means:
We donβt go up to leave the earth.
We rise to escort the King who is coming to reign.
Just like Palm Sunday: they went out to meet Him⦠and brought Him in.
So this passage does not describe a secret escape.
It describes the glorious Second Coming of Jesus, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment, all in one event.
π Not before tribulation.
π Not seven years before the end.
β But at the end of time, in glory.
π CHAPTER 3: JESUS HIMSELF REJECTS A SECRET RETURN
Letβs go to Matthew 24, where Jesus talks about the end times:
βIf anyone says to you, βLook, here is the Christ!β or βThere He is!β do not believe itβ¦
For as lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.β
(Matthew 24:23, 27)
In other words:
His return will be unmissable.
Not silent. Not secret. Not hidden.
He then adds:
βImmediately after the tribulationβ¦ they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with power and great glory. And He will send out His angelsβ¦ and they will gather His elect.β
(Matthew 24:29β31)
π Notice:
Not before tribulation.
But after it.
And again, He gathers the elect, no secret rapture here.
ποΈ CHAPTER 4: WHERE DID THE RAPTURE THEORY COME FROM?
Surprise: this idea was never taught by the Apostles⦠or by any saint⦠or even by Martin Luther or John Calvin.
The βsecret raptureβ theory was invented in the 1830s, not by a Church Father, but by a teenage girl named Margaret MacDonald during a private vision in Scotland.
Her ideas were picked up and expanded by John Nelson Darby, an English preacher and founder of the Plymouth Brethren. He taught that Jesus would return in two stages:
π1. First, secretly, to βraptureβ believers
π2. Then, later and publicly, to judge the world
This system, called dispensationalism, taught a dramatic escape for Christians before tribulation.
