Pope Francis, 88, has been hospitalized since February 14, 2025, with a respiratory infection. Initially diagnosed with bronchitis, tests later confirmed pneumonia in both lungs. His condition is described as “complex,” but he remains stable and in good spirits. All public engagements have been canceled, and there is no set date for his discharge.

What he did, together with his colleague and rival, Licinius, was issue the Edict of Milan in A.D. 313, which proclaimed religious toleration for Christianity among the other religions in the empire.
