Have you ever wondered how someone can give 8 profitable trades out of 10, but after just one or two stop-losses, your account starts going from profit into loss?
Have you ever thought about why this happens?
Today, I want to explain the main reasons.
The first and most important thing is this: you wait for the stop-loss, but you don’t wait for the target.
At least with my signals, you should try to wait until TP3 whenever the market allows, so you can maximize your profit. If one stop-loss gets hit, there is no need to panic—we can recover it through the next setups.
For example, if the stop-loss is 120 pips and the target is also 120 pips, and out of 10 trades, 8 are profitable while only 2 hit stop-loss, you can still remain significantly profitable overall.
Another very important thing is discipline and consistency.
Do not increase your lot size after a stop-loss. If you were using a certain lot size before, continue using the same lot size. Never think, “I just took a loss, so now I’ll increase my lot size and wait for TP4 instead of closing at TP3.”
This is how you lose your consistency and discipline.
So always respect both sides of the trade: wait for your target and respect your stop-loss.‼️
If 8 out of 10 trades are profitable and only 1–2 hit stop-loss, you can still stay profitable overall. But don’t start revenge trading after a losing trade. Don’t let your emotions take control.👀
If your stop-loss gets hit, try to step away from the chart for a while. Give yourself some space. When you are not constantly watching the market, you are less likely to make emotional or revenge trades.🆘
Remember: Consistency, discipline, proper lot size, and patience are what make a trader successful—not revenge trading‼️
