A minor fringe Alberta secessionist who helped get 4 Canadian followers imprisoned by association was declared to "seem to be" a Canadian fed by a court on Friday.
His little group was named Diagalon after the idea of the red states & Alberta & Yukon seceding. His group is not related to the mainstream Alberta secessionist groups. And he doesn't own the name Diagalon, which was the name of a map first.
I never heard of him. But the YouTube video does a good job of explaining the situation beginning around the 25 minute mark. Ezra said he seems to be a fed because he hasn't been charged for firearms law violations he himself posted online, yet people associated with him, however loosely, have been
Was he a fed from the start, meant to be a honeypot to incriminate others Or was he merely intimidated by threats of weapons charges into helping the feds?
To be clear, there's no law against secessionism in Canada or the US. The issue is the young mens' behavior in blocking the roads in Coutts a few years ago.
