Abdul Rauf Barkat, 22, was a teacher at a private educational institution in Turbat and was accused of blasphemy by some Madrassa students (who were also studying in his class) for teaching about Earth's gravity.

They found it against the teachings of Islam, due to which he was shot in Turbat, Balochistan on 5 August.

His close friends say the slain school teacher had recently appeared for the law entrance exam and was waiting for his result.

He decided to teach English to students in a local education center till his result announced.

He was accused of blasphemy by his students and was called to attend a meeting organised by the local religious leaders.

Rauf was brutally killed on his way to attend a meeting by 2 gunmen.
