📢 Introducing a new addition to our ORTHO channels:
OʀᴛʜᴏRᴇᴀD 📚

Reading comprehensive orthopedic textbooks alone can be overwhelming.
Let's make studying more interactive, consistent, and enjoyable!

OrthoReaD is a new channel dedicated to collective reading and continuous orthopedic learning.

How it works:
🔹 The Book: One orthopedic reference book will be tackled at a time.
🔹 The Summary: Every 1-2 days, a high-yield, visual Infographic Summary of a single chapter will be posted.
🔹 The Challenge: Each summary will be followed by two interactive tasks:
1. A Quick Poll (MCQ): To test your core knowledge.
2. A "Mystery" Question: A description of an anatomical structure, a specific disease, or a clinical sign. Members are invited to guess the answer and discuss it in the comments section!

OrthoReaD Mystery Question (Morning Rounds Challenge)

The Scenario: A 12-year-old girl is evaluated for AIS. To determine her remaining skeletal growth potential, the senior attending points to the AP pelvic radiograph and carefully traces the ossification of the iliac crest apophysis from lateral to medial.

The attending turns to you and asks: "Doctor, this classic grading system goes from 0 (completely unossified) to 5 (fully fused to the ilium) and dictates our entire bracing strategy. What is the eponymous name of this sign?"

Drop your answer in the comments below, or tap the hidden text! 👇

Answer: The Risser sign.
