September was another exciting month for Origin. Continued progress was made on Origin Dollar’s integration into Curve.fi and we broke NFT records yet again as the result of an exciting collaboration between ourselves, Polygon, and Inspiration4 for SpaceX’s recent Falcon 9 launch.

We also announced a crossover partnership with C.R.E.A.M Finance that integrates DeFi with NFTs and announced a major exchange listing for OGN.

🔬 We have recently asked the team at OpenZeppelin to analyze the smart contracts that power Origin Dollar, including the vault and the yield-generating strategies. We are happy to report that after five weeks they did not find any major issues that could have resulted in a loss of funds for our users!

Security is of the highest importance at Origin. These smart contracts represent the core of OUSD and are also the biggest attack vector for hackers and exploits. In addition to conducting our own internal audits, we have had external audits performed by some of the most reputable firms in the space, including Trail of Bits, Solidified, Certora, and now OpenZeppelin.

October was another busy month with OUSD receiving an audit from OpenZeppelin. The community also got more involved in governance with new proposals being passed, including a liquidity mining campaign on Curve Finance.

On the NFT side, we now hold the record for highest NFT sale of a food or beverage item at $2.33 million with Metacask auctioning a cask of Macallan 1991 on our creator platform.
