Abdul Rehman Al-Loghri (pictured above) was released from a prison on Bagram Air Base 11 days prior to setting off the August 26 suicide bomb that killed over 180 people, two US officials told CNN.
At todays briefing, WH spox Jen Psaki was asked if the bombing in Kabul would have even happened “had the United States retained control of Bagram.”
“I can’t speak to this particular report. I’d point you to the intelligence community,” she replied to the reporter’s question.
