Many false prophets like to use the following verses, to pretend that God had given them some special knowledge in order to change the Bible, and take it out of context, by updating scriptures, and filling in the blanks, or adding to the verses, that was not actually written, initially.
These false prophets pretend that they are so gifted to "crack" some assumed "codes" of the Bible. This is how they deceive the gullible people, with their vainglory of being privy to extra knowledge that others are not privy to.
God understood the tricks of the false prophets, that is why He had His words written down, because it is harder to change His words if it is already written. That is also why there is a lot of "It is written" in the Bible. But all these updated versions of the Bible are not actually "as It is written", by God, nor are these false prophet, "ear tickling", commentaries of the Bible.
But the false prophets try to get around this through the process of updating God's words, and definition of those words, and then claim that people really didn't understand the words in the past, that were originally written.
This is also why Jesus said that people have lost their first love. People really do need to return to the beginning, especially in their own language.
