Unlike the broad sphere of false and fallible prophets who represent their false and fallible deities, God’s true prophets have been sent throughout history in order to convey God’s magisterial authority and sovereignty over all of His creation, as the Lord said through His prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 55:10–11: 10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
These powerful verses establish a crucial lesson: God never misspeaks, nor does He stutter with ineffectual musings, instead His spoken word directly and effectually reveals His power and authority seeing that even the heavens were made by the word of the Lord.
