Yesterday my grandma slept in. I prayed over her so many hours at her final journey in this physical realm. Now I know she's at rest and waits for the arrival of Lord Jesus Christ 🙏🏻❤️ and there I will see you again Anne Margrethe ❤️ thank you for your beautiful being. We may not be blood related in modern terms. But I know my Bible. And I know we all are blood related.

We hear respected Christian leaders claiming that God has “spoken to them” and given specific guidance and instructions they are duty-bound to obey. They are careful to note that this divine speech was not in audible form and there is a disclaimer that this is not new “revelation.” Yet the message that is “laid on the heart” is so clear and powerful that to disobey it is to disobey the voice of God. I am not speaking here of the work of the Holy Spirit, by which He illumines the text of Scripture in such a sharp manner as to bring us under conviction or direct our paths; in such times, the Spirit works in the Word and through the Word. I am speaking of the voice of the Spirit that men claim is working apart from the Word and in addition to the Word. Though such claims are more often than not attended by the disclaimer that they are not revelation, the way they function is as revelation, so that the distinction between them and bona fide revelation is, in actuality, a distinction without a difference.

Unlike the broad sphere of false and fallible prophets who represent their false and fallible deities, God’s true prophets have been sent throughout history in order to convey God’s magisterial authority and sovereignty over all of His creation, as the Lord said through His prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 55:10–11: 10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
These powerful verses establish a crucial lesson: God never misspeaks, nor does He stutter with ineffectual musings, instead His spoken word directly and effectually reveals His power and authority seeing that even the heavens were made by the word of the Lord.
