China has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over the European Union’s imposition of additional tariffs on electric vehicles (EVs) made in China.
The EU last month slapped tariffs ranging from 17.4% to 37.6% on Chinese EV imports on top of existing 10% duties. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Friday that it had turned to the WTO dispute settlement mechanism to safeguard the development rights and interests of the electric vehicle industry.
It urged the EU to immediately correct its wrong practices and jointly maintain the stability of China-EU economic and trade cooperation as well as EV industrial and supply chains. The EU is the largest overseas market for Chinese EV makers. (Source: RT) @LauraRuHK

The Ukrainian blitzkrieg on Russia's border regions is leading Kiev into a cul-de-sac.
