📝 Job Summary
The Business Development Associate (BDA) plays a key role in supporting Orbit Health’s growth initiatives. The BDA’s primary responsibilities fall into four key areas: Lead Generation, Sales Support, Market Intelligence, and Proposal & Partnership Management.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to identify new clients, high-potential segments, and business opportunities
• Generate and quality leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities in the CRM system
• Schedule meetings, demos, and introductory calls for the sales team
• Act as the first point of contact, building strong relationships with early-stage prospects
• Track tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and new project opportunities
• Support proposal, quotation, and tender preparation and submission
• Gather market intelligence, conduct competitor analysis, and produce actionable reports
• Assist in identifying and engaging potential strategic partners

📚 Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a Health-related field
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in business development, sales, lead generation, proposal development, or related roles
• Skills: Strong communication, research, analytical, CRM proficiency, time management, strategic thinking, Resilience and collaboration

We are looking for a dynamic team player to join as a Domain Expert, responsible for supporting the development of our EMR System. The Domain Expert brings clinical expertise to guide product development, advising on real-world healthcare practices, assessing current workflows, and providing solutions for enhanced EMR usability.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Contribute clinicians’ perspectives in requirement studies and specifications.

Analyze and internalize requirements from a practitioner’s perspective.

Assist the project team in understanding actual healthcare practices.

Advise on practical usability of EMR systems.

Serve as a skilled clinical resource for non-health team members.

Act as the domain expert for clinical workflow-related activities.

Train end-users (physicians, nurses, midwives, laboratory professionals) on EMR use.

Assist in developing/revising training manuals, user guides, and cheat sheets.

Develop documentation such as literature reviews as needed.

Participate or lead focus groups to gather requirements and enhancements for EMR and related products.

Train non-health team members on basics of health and the Ethiopian Health System.

Serve as the main point of contact and application SME for health facilities during implementation and post-implementation phases.

Provide on-site go-live support, optimization, and continuous assistance.

Implement customized training curriculums for physician office staff.

Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager on all assigned tasks.
