For the 80th anniversary of D-Day, I wanted to highlight one of the few surviving ships from the invasion fleet, the USS LST-510, which is shown here in these photos around 1944 and in 2020. The ship landed tanks at Normandy, and after the war it was converted into civilian use as a ferry. Now named the Cape Henlopen, it still operates daily, carrying passengers and vehicles between Long Island and New London, Connecticut.

The authorities say they have captured weapons, IED manuals, an Islamic State flag and more from their caches.
Morocco has been seeing an increasing trend of radicalisation among not only young men but middle aged men as well, most probably because of the growing relations Morocco has with the Hebrew state and the US.
