The Japanese Self-Defense Air Forces have partnered with Kemopla to release a 5.8" collectable figuya garagekit for their national military recruitment mascot, Omaneko-kun, priced at ¥9,460 ($60). Omaneko-kun was designed by an anonymous servicemember and is, of course, an effeminately designed kemono (who is popularly depicted as an ambiguously gay crossdresser).

Servicemembers in the Japanese military were reportedly being provided a discount on their purchases.
