(1/4) The OEPV put together this April 2024 a number of young talented musicians (many of them still kids) in Puerto Vallarta. They closed their activities with a concert, of which I am sharing 3 pieces I could record. Provided they are still studying you will find opportunities and weak parts in each of the pieces. But I think that what we can keep for ourselves is the immense joy and pride of seeing that they are the musicians of the future.
(2/4) The Bacchanal from Samson et Dalila, oh my oh my!!! One of my favorites Orchestral parts by Maestro Saint Saëns. I can't wait to see their improvement in this one. And the ocean in the background is ideal.
(3/4) The Overture 1812 by Maestro Tchaikovsky, another of my favorites as well. I recall my first thoughts were that this one was very ambitious as proposed by the Director and then I also thought that challenging this young boys and girls was a good way to go.
(4/4) this one is so hilarious!, I tried to capture these young musicians moving and dancing to the music, I swear I tried my best
Double celebration: With the publication of the episode ChatGPT tells us about Maestro Offenbach we are reaching the milestone of 100 episodes available !!! 🥳 . We are wrapping up that season 5 with one of the greatest composers who taught us that even in darkness we can find light. We are also now reaching 541 cities (not including those coming from Youtube music as they are not included in Buzzsprout reporting which would make that number even bigger!!!) 🎉🎉🎉
Here you can find the post where we talk a little more about the final episode of season 5 just published. Thanks to Maestro Offenbach for showing us that even in the darkness we can find light.
Thanks to all our listeners throughout the world for letting us share our love for Opera
It had been several weeks that I had planned on sharing the photo of the debut of Maria Callas in Mexico 1950 at the Palacio de Bellas Artes. I have always found interesting that she was announced as the Soprano assoluta of the century, even thought it was it still some years away before she became the famous singer we now know about. The post can be found here and the episode in Buzzsprout is here, though you can always find it in your favorite streaming platform.
In case you are wondering what part Katia sang for us in her invitation to join this Channel, here's a post entry that you may find of interest.
***Live Episode recording sessions in YouTube coming*** I will be sharing a short episode shortly on this. Thanks to the people in YouTube who have received us so warmly as we are reaching the first 1,000 subscribers
Now available the episode of the time travel to 1951 Maria Callas in Mexico City, in the post you can find the links to her Aida in the Parlons de season and the recent episode as well. Post can be found here
I think these pictures will be uploaded to Ko -Fi as there's an album where I should be placing the photos of the venue of the recording sessions with public. Provided this is an island, the way to get here are these bridges. Also there's hundreds of cats in this island
Nice venue for working this Sunday on the episodes of the podcast, don't you think
