The Hot Zone: Anthrax
A trailer has come out: A drama on the anthrax letters that were sent after 9/11.
Looks like a 3 part series to be released in 4 days.
They say they "did a lot of research, looked at footage, looked at articles, looked at books".
Do you think they are going to include some of the 9/11 cover-up and feed some truth out?
[Funny how some of the movie staff are wearing shields and masks for a series about a bioweapon...]

Hollywood is in the business of selling illusions. Are they also there to make you believe that truth is fiction?
In this brilliant 2 part documentary, Sean Stone (that made an appearance on Grand Theft World) narrates and interviews Nick Bryant, author of "Franklin Scandal"; Oliver Stone, his father and movie director of "JFK"; Greg Palast, author of "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy" to name a few, and takes us through some of the propaganda Hollywood put out on behalf of the CIA to alter public perceptions about the Iran-Contra affair, JFK assassination,...

The Wuhan Klan and the French Connection
In the previous post, GTW covered Alain Mérieux and his company BioMérieux and how they built the Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2014 as a collaboration. This China Daily article shows how far back the Sino-French relationship goes with regards to Alain Mérieux:
"Mr. Alain Mérieux started to promote the Sino-France cooperation since 1986 when he was the First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Rhone-Alpes Region. He actively promoted the scientific and economic cooperation with Shanghai, and contributed to the entrance of a number of cooperation agreements between China and France.
In 2007, Mr. Alain Mérieux was appointed by the Foreign Ministry of France as part chairman for the China-France Cooperation Project on Prevention and Control Approaches of Emerging Infectious Diseases. He promoted the Sino-French joint development of Wuhan P4 laboratory, which is a model of joint medical and scientific cooperation."
Mérieux was awarded the Friendship award in 2018 but his ties to China go back to even before his birth. The Mérieux family is what we would call a "dynasty" with most involved in the biological field. Alain Mérieux's grand father was Marcel Mérieux, former assistant to Louis Pasteur, one of the founding fathers of Germ theory and so much more.
The China Daily article goes on to say:
"On March 26, 2014, President Xi Jinping and Madam Peng Liyuan visited bioMerieux Research Center and learned the cutting-edge product and technology, and inquired in the cooperation with China. President Xi remarked that the bioMerieux development is both a microcosm of the contest history between mankind and viruses, and a story of the friendly exchanges between China and France. President Xi hopes Institute Mérieux and Fondation Mérieux to make greater contributions to the promotion of Sino-French cooperation in health.
However, instead of commerce, Mr. Merieux's cooperation with China origins from his family tradition. It was as early as in 1978, Mr. Merieux has come to China to discuss cooperation. Mr. Charles Merieux, his father, is even one of the icebreakers for Sino-French civil exchanges and commercial cooperation.
[OpenMinds: Remember that name: "the icebreakers", it's going to get juicy.]
Mr. Berliet, his father-in-law, also registered in the history of Sino-French relations with an automobile cooperation project long before the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China, which was highly praised by Zhou Enlai [OpenMinds: This name rings a bell...], Deng Xiaoping and other Chinese leaders of the older generation. Attached to this, Mr. Alain Mérieux was appointed as France Chinaman of Celebration Sponsorship Committee of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China - France diplomatic relations this year."
The year 2014, says the article, marks "the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Mr. Merieux's winning of the Friendship Award will encourage the Merieux family and Institute Merieux to continue efforts in expanding cooperation in the field of health between China and France, which will for certain contribute to a new chapter of Sino-French friendship."
The Friendship Awards are the highest awards that China grants to foreigners for their contribution towards building a closer relationship. Alain Merieux was granted another Friendship Award in 2018 at the 40th Anniversary of the China Reform and Opening-up event. (See pictures here)
At that celebration, Chairman Xi Jinping handed out 100 awards to Chinese nationals and 10 Friendship Awards to foreigners.
As per the State Council Information Office of the PRC, and worthy of note, President of the World Economic Forum and Heinz Kissinger's protege, Klaus Schwab was among those to receive the award. When receiving the award he had this to say:
"In 40 years, China has shifted from a largely agricultural nation with a planned economy to one that is poised to be a leader in the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

Alain Mérieux Awarded 'Friendship Award' in 2014|Society|chinadaily.com.cn
Mr. Alain Merieux, President of Fondation Merieux was awarded the 2014 China Government Friendship Award, and the presentation ceremony will be held on September 29th-30th at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing when Mr. Merieux will meet Premier Li Keqiang…
Another person of interest that received the Friendship Award is Stephen Perry.
The 48 Group Club: "The Icebreakers"
Stephen Perry is the chairman of the 48 Group Club. A group formerly known as the "48 Group of British Traders with China" and started in 1952 by Stephen Perry's father, Jack Perry.
In 2015 and at the invitation of the London Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine, Stephen Perry went to the "China-West Colloquiums" event that was given in the London South Bank University (LSBU) and gave a speech entitled: “The New Normal and Common Prosperity, and the Implications for the West”.
[Oh would you look at that, the New Normal in 2015...]
***
Side note:
Confucius Institutes were coming under heavy fire under the Trump administration and were accused of being propaganda outlets and an entry point for CCP spies. Earlier this year, the US Senate approved a bill that would tighten control over the institutes. Canada also had it's concerns over ties between Confucius Institute administrators and large state-run Chinese companies. For instance, they point to the Confucius Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas, where one of the top officials is also vice-president of Huawei, a Chinese telecom company the U.S. government regards as a national security threat, and which has been accused of industrial espionage.
***
On LSBU's website they talk about what Stephen Perry had to say about his father and the 48 Group Club:
"In 1952, Mr Jack Perry met in Cambridge with Ji Chaoding, Joseph Needham and two other Cambridge University scholars. After the Cambridge meeting, under the leadership of Lord Boyd-Orr, the Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and Professor Joan Robinson, a prestigious Cambridge economist, Jack Perry joined the ‘Icebreaker Mission’ as one of its organisers to break the imposed embargo and start friendly trade relations with PR China."
In the early 1950ies there was a lot of communist spying going on, including in Cambridge where they had the infamous "Cambridge 5" spy ring with Kim Philby, whom we've talked about under this section. In the United States, they had huge accusations going round which led to McCarthyism and the Second Red Scare.
Four years after the original 'Icebreaker Mission' in 1958, China had a Great Reset. A new normal. A new technological era called the Great Leap Forward that led to some 50-80 million deaths during the industrialisation process of the agriculture. Could these 1954, British "Icebreakers" led by Lord Boyd-Orr the Director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization have anything to do with transferring technology to China?
If we are to believe Antony Sutton's extensive research for the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and his 3 volume series called: "Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development" that talks about the transfer of technology to the Soviet Union from 1917-1930 (vol.1), 1930-1945 (vol.2) and 1945-1965 (vol.3) written between 1968 and 1973, then we're placing all our money on Shergar for the win. Ironically that horse was also stolen (but probably not by communists 😜).
The 48 Group Club have been heavily criticised:
In "Hidden Hand: Exposing How The Chinese Communist Party Is Reshaping The World", the authors stated:
"In short, at the instigation of a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo, Zhou Enlai, the 48 Group was the work of three secret members of the Communist Party of Great Britain. From this foundation the club quickly developed an unrivalled level of trust and intimacy with the top leadership of the CCP, and has built itself into the most powerful instrument of Beijing's influence and intelligence gathering in the United Kingdom. Reaching into the highest ranks of Britain's political, business, media and university elites, the club plays a decisive role in shaping British attitudes to China."

The 48 Group Club: "The Icebreakers" (continuation)
In June 2020, the 48 Group Club and its chairman Stephen Perry launched a libel lawsuit in an attempt to block the publication of the book in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Some notable members of the 48 Group Club: Fabian socialist wolf in sheep skin clothes Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson, Jack Straw, George Osborne, and many others...
Finally, in this article on Xinhuanet, a Chinese geopolitical website, Stephen Perry is open about what big business is planning on doing the next hundred years:
"Even today, quite a number of people still don't approve of what we do. I think, with time, people can see that China has returned as a major nation, and my father had a lot to do with that."
"Now they're realizing that they can either sit back and try and protect the West behind the Bamboo Curtain, but then they lose half the world's markets, or they are going to work with the Chinese companies to open up this whole vast area called Eurasia, rebuild the Middle East and create an Industrial Revolution in Africa," Stephen said.
"If that isn't enough for the business of the world for the next hundred years, I don't have any better ideas than that," he added.
"China invested heavily in the infrastructure of China before it started urbanization and the same is going to be true of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). I think we'll see a greater urbanization occurring in about 15 or 20 years time (2035-2040), once the basic infrastructure is in place," Stephen said.
"Sharing is the essence of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, and sharing is the essence of the BRI" he said.
Read that sentence again... That's right.
World socialism with Chinese characteristics, meaning through technology and a social credit system; and industrialisation of every part of the planet through corporate take-over without asking the local people, without submitting it for a vote or informing the people of these long term goals therefore completely changing life as we know it.
Eurasians, Middle Easterns, Africans, be warned, they are coming in with their vision of life.
That is the next 100 year plan for the 48 Group Club, China and the World.

Pandora Papers: The Most Expansive Leak Of Tax Haven Files In History leaked by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ)
Great Game India has just done a segment on those papers and is going through them all:
"The most expansive leak of tax haven files in history reveals the secret offshore holdings of more than 300 politicians and public officials from more than 90 countries and territories in the Pandora Papers.
Was CIA Behind Pandora Papers Leak?
Could the CIA be behind the leak of the Pandora Papers, given their curious lack of focus on US nationals?
It may not be a coincidence that both the eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and investor George Soros provide funding to the ICIJ and OCCRP via their highly controversial Luminate and Open Society ‘philanthropic’ enterprises."
