The company I work for demonstrated a proof of concept today using a ChatGPT model for image recognition to pre-fill and verify data, previously a manual task. By automating this process, we saved about six minutes per instance. That doesn’t sound like much, right?

Well, this process runs 282,000 times a year, resulting in a staggering 28,000 hours saved.

Let’s estimate an hourly rate of $25. A simple AI use case like this just saved the company $700,000 per year. And this was just build and released in a matter of months.

This is one of the many examples I've seen so far. Right now, the company is experimenting with 10 other proof of concepts for various use cases. Many of which I believe will scale massively over time. The same goes for many other businesses right now. They are still very much in the experimental phase. Only just beginning to grasp the massive potential of AI.
