During the last epoch, one of our pools did not receive a reward.

The reason was a DDoS attack on the network during the confirmation process. As a result, the node service was temporarily restarted, the confirmation step did not complete correctly, and the pool dropped out of the epoch.

The Gonka AI team has released an alpha patch, which has been installed on all our nodes.
Additional protective measures were also applied to reduce external load and help prevent similar situations in the future.

To keep conditions fair for all participants, we have decided to average rewards across pools for this period.
This means the final distribution will be lower than in a scenario where all pools received rewards, but everyone will receive a reward, and no one will be left without an allocation.

We believe this approach is reasonable at an early stage of the project, while the infrastructure is still being adjusted and stabilized.

This means that very soon you will be able to:
• withdraw unlocked tokens
• send GNK to other users

This is an important milestone for the project.
Our wallet is now a fully functional Web3 wallet, not just a balance viewer.

Great news on rewards for the current epoch 🚀

In this epoch, we achieved a very strong result — rewards are about 3x higher than in the previous epoch, when network updates were taking place.

This is directly related to recent changes in the validator set.

The network identified validators that were receiving high weight without proper justification.
They were removed, and a software update was required to stabilize the system.

Validators that updated quickly gained a clear advantage in this epoch.
We were among them — and the results clearly reflect that 💪

At the moment, our network node ranks 8th by power among all validators in the Gonka AI network.
This is a strong position and a solid foundation for upcoming epochs.

I will attach a screenshot — it shows that the rewards have not been claimed yet.
We are now waiting for the claim step, after which we will immediately begin distributing rewards to participants.

• the whitelist restrictions have been removed

😟 Why people are afraid of AI — and why this is normal

When people talk about artificial intelligence, many feel uneasy.
And this is not because of science fiction movies 🎬

The reasons are much more real.

People worry that:
• 📄 their data might be used somewhere else
• 👀 someone could read private information
• 📤 uploaded documents could “resurface” later
• 🔓 control might be lost at some point

These fears are not imaginary.

Everyone has heard stories:
• about data leaks
• about scandals with internal company documents
• about claims that someone had access to private conversations

And it all comes down to one simple question:

“Who actually controls my data?”

Here is the honest part.

In most AI services today, users do not have technical control.

There are rules.
There are promises.
There are privacy policies.

But there is no simple button for:
• ❌ “Never use this data again”
• ⛔ “Revoke access completely”
• ⏱️ “Allow access only for this action”

And this is what causes the most concern.

🧠 The problem is not that AI is “bad”.
The problem is that boundaries are unclear.

When boundaries are unclear, trust disappears.

This is where the key idea comes in.

Projects like Gonka AI are built around a different logic from the start:
AI cannot exist without access control.

That control must be:

And this is why we put so much focus on the wallet.
Not as a place to store tokens —

Update on claiming mined GNK 👇

We see questions about when mined tokens can be claimed, and we want to share the current status.

At the moment, all mined GNK are held at our network node address.
The tokens are safe and will be distributed after we complete the wallet checks.

We are intentionally taking a short pause before claiming to make sure that:
• wallets are working correctly for users
• addresses are fully accessible by their owners
• sending and receiving transactions is stable

This is exactly why we previously launched the giveaway mentioned in the channel.

🏆 The winners will receive 10 GNK each and will take part in open transaction testing — sending tokens from their own addresses. This helps us verify that the wallet works properly in real-world conditions before mass distribution.

🤔 Why there is no real control in most AI services

Today, many people use AI every day.

✍️ Writing texts.
🎨 Generating images.
📄 Analyzing documents.

When you upload data to a typical AI service,
you send it to someone else’s server.

You don’t see:
• 🌍 where exactly it is processed

Recently, I received documents from a partner.

This has become normal.

Protocol Update: Collateral Requirement for ML Nodes from Epoch 180

Starting from epoch 180, the Gonka AI protocol introduces a collateral requirement for ML nodes.

We are technically prepared for this update. The required collateral will be provided shortly. No action is needed from participants. This is another advantage of working with us — we handle all infrastructure tasks on our side and implement changes on time to keep the system stable and predictable. ⚙️

The collateral is calculated using the formula of 0.032 GNK per unit of power.
In our current configuration, this equals approximately 82 GNK per server.

We are currently running 38 servers.
To maintain full weight, we will allocate approximately 3,428 GNK as collateral (including a 10% additional reserve).

The collateral is applied at the level of our network node account, not at the level of user accounts. It is locked to support validator weight and can later be released through the unbonding mechanism. 🔐

This is another step in the evolution of the protocol and the strengthening of its economic model.

We continue operating as usual and adjust our strategy in line with network developments. 🚀

Planned Update — Temporary Maintenance

Today we are deploying a major system update. ⚙️
