In Charlotte, while Border Patrol was actively conducting mass deportation operations, 66% of the illegal aliens they encountered already had serious criminal histories.

Read that again.

This isn’t a random sample from the border. This is what agents found when they went into the interior and started removing people.

Folks, let’s talk about something that never quite makes it into the polite public conversation...

You’ve heard me say it before, there is no such thing as cheap labor, right?

What looks cheap on a construction site or in a restaurant kitchen is only cheap because someone else is quietly picking up the real tab. YOU AND ME!

One of the biggest, least-discussed tabs is the cost of investigating the crimes that come with large-scale illegal immigration, especially the sex crimes.

In my 30 years in law enforcement, I watched local police departments, sheriff’s offices, and prosecutors’ offices burn enormous amounts of time, overtime, forensic resources, victim services, and court days on cases involving ILLEGAL ALIENS.

The pattern was consistent enough that it stopped surprising me and started making me angry on behalf of the taxpayers.

Sex offenses involving minors and women were disproportionately represented in that workload. Not every illegal immigrant, of course. But the rate was high enough, and the cultural patterns behind it were clear enough, that local agencies ended up carrying a load that was never supposed to be theirs. The feds abandoned them.

For those of you that need stats, Texas Department of Public Safety data shows that from June 2011 through March 2026, illegal aliens were charged with 7,639 sexual assault offenses and 8,674 other sex offenses.

Those charges have already produced 3,895 sexual assault convictions and 3,972 convictions for other sex offenses.

That is just one state’s recorded totals, paid for largely by local taxpayers.

Nobody runs the full national numbers in public... How many detective hours? How many DNA tests? How many interpreters, how many victim advocates, how many nights a child-protection worker spends dealing with the fallout?

All of that is paid for by the same cities and counties that are told they should feel grateful for the “cheap labor.”

When you add those investigation and prosecution costs to the hospital bills, the welfare costs, the school costs, and the lost productivity of actual victims, the labor stops looking cheap.

It starts looking subsidized, by the very people who never consented to the subsidy. YOU AND ME!!!

That’s not hate. That’s accounting.

And the accounting is rarely allowed on stage.

Our study and accompanying information were sent directly to Secretary Kennedy and officials at HHS, FDA, CDC, and NIH.

WHAT CONSTITUTES AN "EMERGENCY" TO SCOTUS?

The DOJ asked the Supreme Court to lift the stay on the mail-in voting Executive Order nearly four weeks ago and the court has had everything needed to render a decision for almost three weeks. Ten days ago, Judge Talwani expanded the injunction nationwide (League of Women Voters v. Trump), and the DOJ updated their filing immediately.

Yet... CRICKETS FROM THE HIGH COURT

How did we get here?

District Court Ruling: U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani issued an injunction halting key sections of the order, finding that the directives violated the separation of powers and encroached on state authority to regulate federal elections.

First Circuit Affirmance: A panel for the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied the administration's request for a stay.

DOJ Emergency Petition: On July 27, 2026, Solicitor General D. John Sauer petitioned the Supreme Court to stay the injunction. The administration argued that lower court blocks cause irreparable harm by preventing federal agencies from preparing election security steps before ballots are mailed out.

Original Petition Status: The justices set briefing deadlines of August 3, 2026 to hear responses from opposing states. The Court has not yet issued an order granting or denying the requested stay.

August 11 Nationwide Injunction: U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani expanded the scope of the legal hold. While her initial ruling directly covered the 23 states involved in the original lawsuit (Trump v. California), she issued a separate preliminary injunction in League of Women Voters of Massachusetts v. Trump, blocking the U.S. Postal Service and federal agencies nationwide from implementing the executive order's mail-in voting rules.

Judicial apathy at this level fails every single eligible citizen voter who deserves clarity, security, and equal access at the ballot box.

We cannot afford games when it comes to the validity and transparency of our elections.

The Pentagon moved Friday to fire three senior employees at the taxpayer-supported military newspaper Stars and Stripes, accusing them of “insubordination” amid an escalating battle over the publication’s direction.

Publisher Max Lederer, Editor-in-Chief Erik Slavin, and Middle East reporter Lara Korte were each served with separation notices and given five days to appeal, according to CBS News⁠.

The stunning shake-up comes as the Trump administration works to overhaul the military publication, drag it into the 21st century, and eliminate the “woke distractions” that have infected institutions across the federal government.

Slavin and Korte claimed they were targeted over interviews they gave to CBS News without authorization for a segment that aired in July.

Slavin told CBS that the Pentagon accused him of insubordination after he publicly declared that any effort to control the newspaper’s reporting would cross a “red line.”

“According to the notice, I am being fired for stating in a CBS interview that censorship of news for service members would constitute a red line,” Slavin said.

“The Pentagon’s public affairs office has charged me with insubordination. I stand by the principle that Stars and Stripes must remain editorially independent, as required by law and by the department’s own policies.”

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell previously announced plans to bring Stars and Stripes “into the 21st century” and refocus the outlet away from “woke distractions that syphon morale.”
