Some markets are shutting down until price actions on their currencies and gold stabilizes.
Simply put, Egypt's currencies are falling so fast in price that the rush to the gold market is not allowing enough time to record on both databases fast enough.
This is one of many currency crisis interventions that will be experienced. The need to shut down their markets and open them with new prices on both sides of the equation is one of many ways to reset a currency price.
