MAGNITOGORSK (Magnetic Mountain) is an obscure city to the south of Western Russia with stupendous architecture.
There is this statue of two men holding a sword, a whopping 15 metres tall. Strangely it finds no mention in Wikipedia which only talks of this city as the Iron & Steel hub of Russia since 1930. Another strange mention in wiki is that the town was "closed" in 1937 and that an explosion had taken place thereafter (sounds telling of a destruction of Tartarian properties).
One more fantastically elegant and HUGE architecture is Church of Ascension. We also have Temple of Archangel Michael which is pretty but smaller in size.
The H U G E statue of two soldiers is called TYL FRONTU meaning "hinterland of the frontline" (as per a comment on TripAdvisor which has a listing of this monument). There is hardly a decent video on utub on this monument.
