According to the Huna wisdom (from Hawaiian shamanism and allied traditions), our three selves are each on their own path of evolution. Our Basic Self will gradually expand its awareness until, in another lifetime, it becomes a Conscious Self. Our Conscious Self is slowly learning how to be a Higher Self. And our Higher Self is becoming an oversoul, on its journey back towards the Source.

Imagine that our three selves are three carriages of a train. At the front is the Higher Self, in the middle is the Conscious Self, and at the rear is the Basic Self.

The Higher Self cannot move any faster unless the Conscious Self comes with it; and the Conscious Self cannot accelerate unless the Basic Self comes too. There has to be harmony between the three selves, each pulling along the self which is ‘behind’ it, if the train is to move any faster.

We can meditate and pray until we’re old and grey – but without our Basic Self, we can never find the wholeness we are seeking. Spirituality cannot be separated from psychology. Unless we deal with our emotional blockages, our childhood patterns, our negative and limiting beliefs, our spiritual growth will always be limited. The Basic Self cannot grow and mature if it is left in the dark. It must be exposed to the Light of awareness and love.

Just got home. The fire at Three bridges stopped all trains in to London. No coincidence that there's a Cemex deport and It's next to Gatwick airport.

A fire has broken out near Stonehenge- with emergency services rushing to the scene.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is urging people to avoid the area and has said that smoke is affecting the A303 at this point in time.
National Highways for the South West has announced that the A303 is closed both ways between Druids Lodge on the A360 and Amesbury on the A345 due to the fire.
Emergency services are currently attending the scene.
As spokesperson for the network said: ‘Delays are beginning to build on approach in both directions.
