🤖 Here is a Basic Saitama Configuration Checklist:

Enable welcome security, soft or strong.
/welcomemute strong
Note: Tries to limit what a user can do when they newly join a group
Strong = Give them 120 seconds to press button, if they fail, kick them off the group
Soft = Restricts them to text only for 24hours after joining

Protect accidental contact leakage
/lock contact

Stop letting users add bots (Ideally, disable the "Add Users" permission in group settings)
/lock bots

Private group? Worried about invite links?
/disable invitelink

Lock forwarding stuff into the group
/lock forward

Private group? Avoid users kicking themselves by mistake
/disable punchme

Users/Spammers flooding non-stop? (Adjust the number to your needs)
/setflood 7
Set what to do when flood control happens using
/setfloodmode mute/ban/tmute
Example: /setfloodmode tmute 15m

Don't want some Saitama commands enabled in group?
/listcmds and then use /disable namehere
/listmodules and /disablemodule namehere
Note: if this conflicts with any other bot in group then use /disable@SaitamaRobot to send that message only to Saitama.

Want to auto warn users when they say specific stuff?
See warns > /addwarn command help

Don't like some words to be spoken in group? Blacklist them using
/addblacklist word1
word2
"entire sentence here"
Note: You can use "quotes for" if there is a sentence and not a word.

Don't want to explain to each newbie? Setup rules!
/setrules
Awesome Rules here

Don't want our awesome random welcome messages? Use a custom one using
/setwelcome Hi, welcome to my group
Note: This command has more stuff you can use, see /welcomehelp first.

Have multiple groups to handle? Setup Federations!
Read help for this, this has a bit of a learning curve.

Enable reporting so that your users can report troublemakers to admins.
/reports on
Note: Send in group to enable group reports and send in Saitama's pm so that he will report any enabled group to Your pm.

Want to track which of your admins did what? Who banned who? Who joined?
Setup a log channel, see help for instructions.


Lastly, most of these would apply to almost any Saitama like bot, please do spread the word around for basic chat control and protect yourself from spammers/scammers and troublemakers.

Made some adjustments to fix the recent Saitama lags. lets see how that goes

Major updates to Saitama:

- Improvements on response(we know he has been slowing down a lot lately)
- Added wallpaper search.
Example: /wall naruto
- Updated help docs for most modules
- Updates to "Disasters" and a new "Tiger" Disaster.
- Deep linking to some stuff that we believe users should know.
- Maths module - do basic and come complex maths at ease

- Some improvements to "/info" command listing
More like, it looks worse than before, so we will be working on this real soon.
- Added ChatBot API by CoffeeHouse. Saitama can now talk.

More updates to Saitama:

- Documented missing lines into feds.
- Fixes to feds, removed bloat.
- Restart command is now reboot to avoid cross bot conflict.
- Bluetext cleaner commands, help updated.
- Added global mutes.
- Added remote kick, ban, mute.
- Saitama will leave a chat he is muted in.
- Dont say goodbyes to gbanned users.
- Notes are now case insensitive.
- Afk now replies when you reply to an afk user, was just on tagging earlier.
- Stability improvements, translation updates, fixes here and there.
- Added more bugs to fix them later.
-Allow commenting on channel using @discussbot
- Saitama chatbot mode now replies if you say "saitama".

Update: Forget sleep, he is up and is now catching upto messages.

Saitama is down and throwing Read time outs to api.telegram.org.
I'm gonna fucking sleep on this and check it in the morning first thing.

Ive set the service to keep restarting, if it comes back up, cool.
Just note that your defender bot is down right now.

- Allow disabling /promote and /demote commands in groups.
- Added a "Add saitama to chat" link in its start.
- Added some slap replies
- Improved the repository readme
- Added a lot of new welcome and goodbye messages
- Info command is undergoing some upgrades
The info command may change from /info to /appraise
We are thinking of adding support for /info /appraise and /appraisal.
Still ongoing, so this is an experimental change.
- The translation command works with "/tr" and "/tl" we noticed users were used to both and mixed them op often, so we allowed both.
- Run strings are now run replies and not roasts
- Added function to get common chats with bot (dev use only)
- Removed invite links from chatlist command (dev use only)
- Added cleaning welcome service messages like
"User joined chat" or "user left the group" that telegram naturally shows.
- Added replacing all mentions of @OnePunchSupport with your custom support chat, this should help users who deploy fork to run their own support chat.
- Readme is updated with some major rules regarding forking and support, those who have forked saitama are requested to read it at least once.
- Translation updates, fixed typos and added some bugs to fix them later

Some quick updates

- Fixed an issue with the /tr command not working. (Thanks to phoenix)
- Added "/police" its just a fun command. (admins only)
- Lil bit of fixing here and there and some config sample updates.
- Added some more bugs to fix later.

Oh, forgot to mention one of the most awaited features.
Cleanservice [See welcome section help for more info on it]

Saitama is now able to delete service messages when a user joins or leaves a chat.
This also helps fight off spammers like these.
Enable it by sending /cleanservice on

Reports are broken reeeeeeeeeeeee.

We will look into this hopefully this weekend itself.

Saitama holding on in a Chinese chat using Intellivoid's coffeehouse to converse through, I had to use google translate there but looks like we are slowly walking towards connecting more and more types of chats and users together.

He seems to be doing okay and the users seem to like this.

The dev version of Saitama is testing regex based blacklist and filters, this would mean that any blacklist or filter with the following
"$*^{}[]()?.+" triggers would break.
If you have any blacklist or a filter having these then they would stop working when the regex features hit the bot, So make sure to escape them using backslash i.e. $ -> \$, you are always free to visit us at @OnePunchSupport in case you need help setting up the regex filters.
