First Message

We recently added some new stuff to Saitama that should help control potential spammers to some extent.

Current stats:
319 blacklist triggers, across 73 chats.
1136 filters, across 200 chats.
125 disabled items, across 58 chats.
6313 The user is banned, on the 38 Federation
159 gbanned users.
31 log channels set.
1095 notes, across 203 chats.
100 chats have rules set.
105924 users, across 1602 chats
969 overall warns, across 157 chats.
46 warn filters, across 20 chats.

The connect feature is not fully implemented, it's a work in progress so don't come to the support asking why it's not working

You can now purge messages in 3 different ways.

/purge and reply to an old message to purge from there to the /purge command.

/purge 10 and reply to an old message to purge 10 messages from the old message.

/purge 10 and dont reply to anyone and saitama will purge latest 10 messages.

Slapping Saitama himself now makes him mute you sometimes and scold you the rest.

Btw /echo command is useable by admins too.
This was limited to disasters only earlier

Minor downtimes here and there as Dragloli is testing some changes on feds.

New updates
You can now search faster on Kayo and Kaizoku using

/kayo anime name here
Or
/kaizoku anime name here

This would search the sites and show you results.

Saitama logs as defined by admins will now include logging of new people joining a chat along with their ID.

Now chat owners can let their admins know to ban and delete all from spammers and you can still track who the spammer was.

We might add logging of who left the chat (not sure yet).

Looks like tmute isn't working properly.

A temp mute just ends up muting anyone permanently, slapping Saitama and his 1 minute mute also acts permanently.

We will look into this today, meanwhile avoid using these two

Update: This is fixed ✅

Update, a timezone issue on server is confusing saitama with tmute times, we are still digging this(just made some server side changes and waiting to test if the issue pops back up)

Restarted saitama and at the moment things look okay.
Please monitor when you use tmute in recents to make sure its not settings mutes for "forever"

Made changes, observed this for a few days.

Issue stands resolved.

Antiflood now mutes a user instead of auto ban.
Note: Mute is permanent so an admin will have to unmute in case of flood control mute.

Lots of users are reporting being added to random groups recently, do note that mass adding users maybe a spammer behaviour but Saitama or any or bot aren't capable of handling this.

Those who want control on who can add them and were are requested to edit:
User > Settings > Privacy and Security > Groups and Channels > Set this to "My contacts" instead of "Everybody".

This would prevent your non contacts to add you to any group or channel unless you let them.

Enable welcome security, soft or strong.
/welcomemute strong
Note: Tries to limit what a user can do when they newly join a group
Strong = Give them 120 seconds to press button, if they fail, kick them off the group
Soft = Restricts them to text only for 24hours after joining

Protect accidental contact leakage
/lock contact

Stop letting users add bots (Ideally, disable the "Add Users" permission in group settings)
/lock bots

Private group? Worried about invite links?
/disable invitelink

Lock forwarding stuff into the group
/lock forward

Private group? Avoid users kicking themselves by mistake
/disable punchme

Users/Spammers flooding non-stop? (Adjust the number to your needs)
/setflood 7
Set what to do when flood control happens using
/setfloodmode mute/ban/tmute
Example: /setfloodmode tmute 15m

Don't want some Saitama commands enabled in group?
/listcmds and then use /disable namehere
/listmodules and /disablemodule namehere
Note: if this conflicts with any other bot in group then use /disable@SaitamaRobot to send that message only to Saitama.

Want to auto warn users when they say specific stuff?
See warns > /addwarn command help

Don't like some words to be spoken in group? Blacklist them using
/addblacklist word1
word2
"entire sentence here"
Note: You can use "quotes for" if there is a sentence and not a word.

Don't want to explain to each newbie? Setup rules!
/setrules
Awesome Rules here

Don't want our awesome random welcome messages? Use a custom one using
/setwelcome Hi, welcome to my group
Note: This command has more stuff you can use, see /welcomehelp first.

Have multiple groups to handle? Setup Federations!
Read help for this, this has a bit of a learning curve.

Enable reporting so that your users can report troublemakers to admins.
/reports on
Note: Send in group to enable group reports and send in Saitama's pm so that he will report any enabled group to Your pm.

Lastly, most of these would apply to almost any Saitama like bot, please do spread the word around for basic chat control and protect yourself from spammers/scammers and troublemakers.

Made some adjustments to fix the recent Saitama lags. lets see how that goes

Major updates to Saitama:

- Improvements on response(we know he has been slowing down a lot lately)
- Added wallpaper search.
Example: /wall naruto
- Updated help docs for most modules
- Updates to "Disasters" and a new "Tiger" Disaster.
- Deep linking to some stuff that we believe users should know.
- Maths module - do basic and come complex maths at ease

- Some improvements to "/info" command listing
More like, it looks worse than before, so we will be working on this real soon.
- Added ChatBot API by CoffeeHouse. Saitama can now talk.

- Added more bugs to fix them later.

More updates to Saitama:

- Documented missing lines into feds.
- Fixes to feds, removed bloat.
- Restart command is now reboot to avoid cross bot conflict.
- Bluetext cleaner commands, help updated.
- Added global mutes.
- Added remote kick, ban, mute.
- Saitama will leave a chat he is muted in.
- Dont say goodbyes to gbanned users.
- Notes are now case insensitive.
- Afk now replies when you reply to an afk user, was just on tagging earlier.
- Stability improvements, translation updates, fixes here and there.
- Added more bugs to fix them later.

- Saitama chatbot mode now replies if you say "saitama".
