*Shielding Families in North Gaza From the Storm*

In North Gaza, families are surviving in torn tents as harsh winds, rain and cold batter what little shelter they have left. With homes destroyed, even the sky has become a threat.

Alhumdulillah, One Nation is providing tarpaulin and nylon covers to protect families from the brutal weather, giving them a small sense of safety and dignity in the middle of unimaginable hardship. Our Ummah should never face the cold and rain alone.

Charity given before hardship is protection, mercy and a test of sincerity. Don’t wait until you are tested to act. Give while you can, for those who can’t.

*The Date Project is back with its first tin design*

This stunning tin features a hand-painted portrayal of the Dome of the Rock, glowing beneath its radiant golden dome.

Delicate blue tile work, Qur'anic inscriptions and soft watercolour gradients capture both the spiritual and architectural beauty of one of Islam's holiest landmarks.

Painted as an expression of love and solidarity with the people of Palestine, the artwork reflects hope, steadfastness and faith amidst hardship — a reminder that from sacred ground springs resilience and light.

Through each tin sold, clean and safe water is provided to families in Gaza, transforming art into real impact.

Maaida Noor is a British artist and calligrapher known for her contemporary interpretations of traditional Islamic art. For The Date Project 2026, she created this painting of the Dome of the Rock as her first piece after becoming a mother - a deeply personal tribute to faith, love, and the enduring spirit of Palestine.
