ʿUmar ibn ʿUbaydullāh ibn Maʿmar once passed by a Black man eating beside a palm-tree garden, with a dog sitting before him. Each time he took a morsel, he would toss one to the dog.
ʿUmar asked him, “Is this your dog?”
He replied, “No.”
ʿUmar said, “Then why do you feed him as you feed yourself?”
The man answered, “I feel ashamed eating before a creature with two eyes watching me eat and not share with him.”
ʿUmar asked, “Are you a free man or a slave?”
He said, “A slave belonging to one of the Banū ʿĀṣim.”
So ʿUmar went to the said tribe's gathering place, purchased the man and the garden beside which he sat, then returned and said to him, “Do you realize that God has now set you free?”
The man replied, “All praise is due to God alone, and then to the one who freed me.”
ʿUmar said, “And this garden is now yours.”
The man said, “I make you witness that I dedicate it as a waqf (endowment) for the poor of Madinah.”
ʿUmar exclaimed, “Woe to you! You do this despite your own need?”
He replied, “I am ashamed before God to be granted something by Him and then be stingy with it toward Him!”

In Gaza, even the most basic nutrition has become a struggle. Families are going days without proper meals, and balanced food is now a luxury.
On 30th October 2025, our team distributed fresh beef to families in Al-Bureij Camp, giving them much-needed protein and strength.
On 5th November 2025, we continued support at Al Mufti Shelter in Nusseirat Camp with vital fruit and vegetables — essentials for health, immunity, and survival.

*Gaza Bread Distribution 4th Nov*
Bread — the most basic food — has become a lifeline in Gaza.
On 4th November, our team delivered fresh bread to families who haven’t seen a normal meal in days. Many walked long distances just to secure a few loaves to feed their children.
In a place where hunger is constant and supplies are scarce, even simple bread brings relief, dignity, and hope. No family should have to struggle for their next meal.

*Warmth For A Freezing Afghanistan*
Winter in Afghanistan is brutal. Families already shattered by hardship now face sub-zero nights with nothing to shield them from the cold.
Children huddle together for warmth, and parents burn scraps of wood just to survive another night.
A heating pack can be the difference between life and death — providing essential warmth, dignity, and hope to those with no protection from the winter.
Your support can help keep families alive through the coldest months.
