'Afuw - is for Allah to forgive you for the sin and delete it from your book of deeds as if it did not happen. ‘Afuw is Allah’s pardon for your sin, it will be completely erased from your record and Allah won’t ask you about it on Judgement day.
This is why our Prophet ﷺ said that, this is the best dua to make on Laylatul Qadr:
"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee"
O Allah, You are The One Who pardons greatly, and You love to pardon, so pardon me.)"

Surah al Qadr:
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ
The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months).

“Seek the Night of Decree in the odd nights among the last ten nights of Ramadan.”

💢The Prophet ﷺ said ;
“The month of Ramadan has come, a blessed month in which Allah Almighty has obligated you to fast. In it the gates of the heavens are opened, and in it the gates of Hellfire are closed, and in it the devils are chained, and in it is a night that is better than a thousand months. Thus, whoever is deprived of its good is truly deprived.”

💠The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the Night of Decree, “It is a calm night, neither hot nor cold, and the sun arises on it red and feeble.”
[📚Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah | 2049]
💢The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to inform people about the Night of Decree (laylat al-qadr) in Ramadan, but two Muslim men were insulting each other. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily, I have come out to tell you about the Night of Decree, but two men were insulting each other. Thus, its knowledge was removed and perhaps it is better for you. Look for it during the seventh, ninth, or fifth night of the last ten nights.”

💠The Prophet ﷺ said;
“Look for the Night of Decree in the last ten nights of Ramadan. If one of you is weak or unable, then do not be overcome during the remaining seven nights.”

💢The Prophet ﷺ said;
would seek spiritual retreat in the mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan, until Allah Almighty caused him to pass away. His wives continued to perform the retreat after him.
[📚Sahih al Bukhari 1928 | Sahih Muslim | 1172]
💠The Prophet ﷺ said ;
Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

❝The Friday prayer is from the greatest of congregations of the Muslims.❞

💠Prophet ﷺ said: ❝There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’ā during it, his Du’ā will be accepted.❞

💢Prophet ﷺ said: ❝Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he takes, the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).❞

💠Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ said: ❝Jummah to Jummah expiates the minor sins in between them except for the major sins.❞
