* I HAD TO TIE MY CHILDREN TO THE TOP OF TREE TO ESCAPE THE FLOODING*
Day 3 - 30th March 2019
YouTube : https://youtu.be/dhkZS-AJqQ0
After hours of driving and blocked/damaged roads, our one nation UK team delivered aid in Dombe (Mozambique) where we found hundreds of families in desperate need of food aid.
We spoke to a family whose father told us that as the dams burst, water came flooding into his village at a rapid rate and to survive, he had to tie his family to the top of a tree where they were there for 3 days. Due to hunger and tiredness they fell back into the water but were rescued and the family survived alhumdulillah.
Our teams are continuing to assist those in need.

*China holds one million Uighur Muslims in concentration camps*
YouTube :
https://youtu.be/IItWZdWusPo
The world's next major human disaster is in the making in China. This time, we should act before it's too late.
The Uyghurs are mostly Muslim, with approximately 11 million in western China's Xinjiang region.
China is facing growing criticism over its persecution of some Muslim minority groups, huge numbers of whom are allegedly being held in internment camps.
In August 2018, a UN human rights committee was told there were credible reports that around a million people may have been detained, and held in what resembles a prison camp.
Anyone who had contacted someone abroad via WhatsApp was targeted and people in camps are made to learn Mandarin Chinese, swear loyalty to President Xi Jinping, and criticise or renounce their faith.
Human rights watch says Uyghur people are subject to intense surveillance, from facial recognition cameras to QR codes on people's doors, Uyghur's are reportedly made to undergo DNA and biometric tests.
Former prisoners told BBC reporters of physical and mental torture in the camps, with entire families disappearing.
China denies such camps exist but say people in Xinjiang are receiving "vocational training".
There is growing criticism of China's treatment of Uyghur Muslims in the international community yet no country has taken any action.
One Nation are exploring ways to help the Uyghurs, however, they are not currently collecting donations for this appeal and only using it as awareness

As Ramadan approaches us and we prepare ourselves to stay away from food and drink during daylight hours, it is important to remember than around the world close to 1 billion people struggle to eat and drink every single day.
By fasting we are able to gain a small insight into their lives. We are able to experience just a small portion of their daily struggle and suffering.
During this time of awareness it is imperative that we remember to do what we can to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
You can do so today by helping us in our mission to fight starvation and thirst around the world.

*Will You Take Part In The #Iftar1000 Campaign*?
*As Ramadan approaches we need your help to ensure that our impoverished brothers and sisters in Syria have enough food and water to be able to break their fast.*
_It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said “whoever gives Iftar to one who is fasting, they will have a reward like it without it being decreased in the slightest bit” [Tirmidhi]_
*Can you imagine receiving the reward for fasting, without even doing so?*
_In Syria it costs only £1 to provide an Iftar meal to a person in need, that means for just £1 you could gain the reward of a fasting person._
_But why stop at just one? With thousands of people in Syria in need right now, the opportunity exists to earn a much greater reward. Through our Iftar1000 campaign, you can help to provide 1,000 iftars this Ramadan and earn the reward of 1,000 fasts._
*How Do I Help Provide 1,000 Iftars?*
*Step 1: Visit* www.Iftar1000.com
*Step 2: Create your fundraising page*
*Step 3: Share the link with your family and friends to help you reach £1000*
