*Sadaqah Extinguishes Sin As Water Extinguishes Fire*

Sadaqah, which derived from the Arabic root Sadq (truth) means any form of charitable giving that is voluntary. Every action of righteousness done to benefit another is considered as Sadaqah, be it smiling or feeding the poor.

Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “Every Muslim has to give in Sadaqah (charity).” The people asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him)! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?” He said, “He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns).” The people further asked, “If he cannot do even that?” He replied, “Then he should help the needy who appeal for help.” Then the people asked, “If he cannot do that?” He replied, “Then he should perform all that is good and keep away from all that is evil and this will be regarded as charitable deeds.” (Bukhari)

*Yemen Is on the brink of the worst famine In 100 years*

YouTube:
https://youtu.be/-3qza771kK4

Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the Middle East, and ordinary people are bearing the brunt of a brutal conflict.

Severe water shortages combined with airstrikes, sniper attacks, and a fuel blockade have turned this conflict into a humanitarian crisis. Demand for food, water, shelter, sanitation and medical care to vulnerable families is increasing daily.

According to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the conflict has left millions of desperate people in need of humanitarian aid and protection. Yemeni families were already dealing with dire and extreme poverty but this conflict has exacerbated their suffering.

17.8 million people lack access to safe water and sanitation, 19.7 million lack access to adequate healthcare. (UN agency)

3.2 million people require treatment for acute malnutrition; including 2 million children under-five, and more than 1 million pregnant and lactating women.
