Times have changed since our parents and grandparents brought you up. Technology has advanced and what used to take plenty of effort is now only a click away.
A reminder this week mentions the occasions which we tend to attend regularly where the simplicity is usually forgotten leading to wasting of food and money.
Our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh and Afghanistan are living in dire conditions with no access to food and water. As we prepare for such occasions remember the people around the world you can feed this jummah for as little as 1 pound

When our Youth team was in Zambia they met an elderly man who lives with 2 of his orphaned grandchildren. He lives in a hut made out of sticks and hay and his living conditions were difficult to witness.
Alhamdulillah we were able to provide him with a food parcel, which he said would last him 1 or 2 months.

*💦Water Pump in Afghanistan On Behalf of Mohammed Rafiq*
Assallamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu.
My dear brothers and sister of *one nation family* As you are aware our beloved brother *Javed bai from one nation head office*. His *father Mohammed Rafiq* is very ill and in critical condition. He is believed to be in a stage he has *limited life time*.
*We pray to Allah SWT to take care of the situation and to be pleased of his creation and to elevate his status, grant sabr to the family during this difficult time. Ameen*
I kindly request to all my beloved one nation family from dedicated staff, volunteers and trustees. Please donate generously any amount you wish to contribute towards this noble cause.
As a family together let’s build a Water Pump in Afghanistan as Sadaqah Jaariyah on behalf of our beloved uncle.
The Prophet ﷺ was asked
which charity is best?
The Prophet ﷺ replied
Water [Abu Dawud]
_The water situation in Afghanistan is dire and more than 70% of the population lacks access to safe drinking water, with available drinking water often contaminated._
