*Aqeeqah & Animal Sacrifice*

To offer an Aqeeqah or sacrifice for a newborn child is the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his companions used to perform Aqeeqah when they were bestowed with a newborn. 1 sheep is sacrificed for a girl and 2 for a boy.

One nation is working in the following countries to provide an Aqeeqah (1 small animal)
Afghanistan £150
Bangladesh £100
Gaza £350
Syria £130
