Professor Erez Ben Yosef, an expert in the Iron Age from Tel Aviv University, was thrilled to share what they’d found in Israel.

Ongoing excavation work has revealed all sorts of treasures in the Timna Valley, which lies between Jerusalem and the Red Sea. Timna hosts ancient copper mines thought to have once belonged to King Solomon. Today, you can visit a life-size model of the Tabernacle there, which turns out to be not an insignificant detail, as we shall see.

In addition, experts have just announced that they have discovered a purple dye production plant on the Carmel coast of northern Israel.

We are deeply saddened and appalled by the devastating news of the violent terrorist attack that took the lives of two of our dedicated Embassy staff in Washington — Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim.

Both were Messianic believers. Yaron was well known among the believing community in Israel and will be deeply missed.

Our hearts go out to their grieving families in this time of sorrow, and we remain steadfast in our support for them.
