CLA Annual Gathering Meeting 2025, A Powerful Celebration of Leadership, Transformation & Community.

On November 14, 2025, the Cambodian Librarians Association proudly held our Annual Gathering Meeting, bringing together 53 dedicated library professionals from across sectors including government ministries, national institutions, community libraries, school and academic libraries.

We were honored to welcome representatives from the Ministry of Cult and Religion, National Institute of Banking, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the National Library, and many university and school libraries. Hosted at CamEd Business School, this event was strengthened through the collaboration of our incredible partners: AUPP, CamEd, OBOC, ITC, RULE, UP, CKS, and the Institute of France.

The gathering introduced new initiatives, featured digital professional networking through the Tactlink App, and provided an insightful AGM session where we shared important updates, improved workflows, new member benefits, and exciting opportunities for 2026.

This year, we proudly celebrated 41 Outstanding Awardees across four categories:
• 2 Library Lifetime Contribution Awards
• 4 Global Library Advocate Awards
• 19 Library Legacy Awards
• 16 Emerging Library Leader Awards

Their achievements reflect the passion, resilience, and impact of Cambodia’s vibrant library community.

During this Annual Gathering, our division and committee teams reaffirmed our shared vision to position CLA and the library sector as catalysts for Cambodia’s national development bridging education with industry, strengthening future-ready skills, and fostering meaningful partnerships.

We work to support the growth of a skilled, competitive, and innovation driven workforce, and through knowledge access, digital literacy, and community collaboration, libraries empower learners and professionals to drive Cambodia’s economic progress and global integration.
