🚨 North Korean Hackers Laundering Stolen ETH via exch Exchange 🚨
Over the last 24 hours, 19,000 ETH were deposited into the NON-KYC exch exchange, while 400 BTC in reserves were withdrawn—raising red flags about money laundering of hacked funds.
Bybit has requested help, sharing addresses linked to the stolen assets, but exch’s representative posted on Bitcointalk, refusing cooperation. They claim Bybit previously froze user funds from exch, so they won’t assist in freezing the stolen ETH.
Meanwhile, North Korean hackers are bypassing restrictions on Chainflip (where ETH deposits for BTC swaps are disabled) by swapping ETH for USDC via Uniswap, then depositing into Chainflip to convert to BTC seamlessly.
