People who say this 👆🏻 can't trust that God will keep them saved EVEN IF they lost their belief.
That's why they have to say it's impossible to lose faith

FREE GRACE THEOLOGY IS THE BIBLICAL TRUTH — PART VII
Free Grace — A saved person is 100% eternally secure, but is able to later reject Jesus Christ and stop believing in him.
Adding to Part I in the series, continued reading of scripture further proves that John the Baptist ceased from the faith that saved him initially (though he never became unsaved), and we can surmise that he had enough doubt that would classify it as apostacy!
This is the message that Jesus received from John who was in prison... (AFTER his profession of faith in John 1:34)
And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
—Matthew 11:3
...and this is what Jesus said to him...
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
—Matthew 11:4-6
Jesus' response to this implies that John the Baptist was offended in him. Have we heard this word somewhere else in the text? Yes we have!
Notice in the parable of the sower how the second seed (which sprouted from the rock) is described...
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
—Matthew 13:21
...and notice what this word "offended" is synonymously paired with...
They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
—Luke 8:13
For a short time John the Baptist was in fact the seed that sprouted on the rock which withered away in time of temptation. "For a while believe" means that A SAVED PERSON CAN LOSE SAVING FAITH despite being eternally secure.

"Evidence that you're "truly" saved is that you're gonna continue believing"
Hmmm, where else have I seen that...
Reject the False Gospel of Continuation-In-Belief Perseverists.
They wisely craft their argument so that you won't say that they're getting saved by persevering. They make it about it being the evidence so that they will dissipate the accusation.
