IN THE SAME PASSAGE that says they DEPARTED FROM THE FAITH

1 Timothy 4:1-10 (AKJV)

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ²speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; ³forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. ⁴For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: ⁵for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Peter denied Christ after having believed, he was still saved

In 1 John 5:13, NKJV promotes works salvation heresy of continuing (a human work) to believe in order to be saved

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.✅

1 John 5:13 NKJV
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue  to believe in the name of the Son of God.❌

By changing "believe" (KJB) to "continue to believe" (NKJV), NKJV:
💥Unbiblically implies you need to do works/effort of continuing to believe in order to be saved/have eternal life

💥Distorts/attacks believing on the risen Lord Jesus to be saved & goes against Acts 16:31, John 3:15, John 3:16, & Romans 10:11, which all say believe to be saved & have eternal/everlasting life.
To be saved, you believe (KJB), not contine to believe (NKJV).
Discard NKJV; get KJB
