Ukraine delivers a humiliating blow to Russia with a helicopter raid on a fuel depot in the city of Belgorod.
On the morning of April 1, two Ukrainian Mi-24 attack helicopters entered the Russian airspace at very low altitude and managed to successfully execute their strike without any interference.
The fact that the Ukrainian Air Force can operate in the sky undetected, and even crossover into Russian territory 36 days into this war, undoubtedly raises some uncomfortable questions for Moscow.

The U.S. and its allies are weighing security guarantees for Ukraine, but they're unlikely to give Kiev what it wants.
Per CNN:
The U.S. and its allies have been weighing how the West could provide Ukraine with alternative security guarantees should it forgo its NATO membership bid as a concession to Russia to end the war, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.
The discussions, which have included the Ukrainians directly, are in very early phases because it is not clear to U.S., Western and Ukrainian officials that the Russian negotiations are anything more than a smokescreen.
But it is unlikely, they noted, that the U.S. and its allies will ultimately offer Ukraine the kinds of legally binding protections it is requesting.

๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บ Vladimir Putin is actually on our side. Let's not provoke him, whether we like him or not.
"Among the long list of foreign policy failures and contradictions in the last few years, including the bombing of Libya, the desire to arm the rebels in Syria, has been the unnecessary provocation of Vladimir Putin.
This EU empire, ever seeking to expand, stated its territorial claim on the Ukraine some years ago. We directly encouraged the uprising in the Ukraine. If you poke the Russian bear with a stick, don't be surprised when he reacts.
Now, just to continue with that, there are NATO soldiers engaged in military exercises in the Ukraine. Have we taken leave of our senses? Do we actually want to have a war with Putin? Because if we do, we're certainly going about it the right way. Vladimir Putin, whatever we may think of him as a human being, is actually on our side. Let's not provoke Putin, whether we like him or not".

What happened in Bucha?
Based on what we are seeing from multiple sources, it does appear that many civilians have been killed.
The Ukrainians are, of course, pointing the finger at Russia. Circumstantial evidence, however, is painting a different picture.
This timeline from Moon of Alabama is somewhat revealing.
