❗️Russian missiles hit major military base near Polish border in Yavoriv, Ukraine.

The base was allegedly used as a NATO training ground and weapons transfer station. Local officials report that 35 people were killed and 134 injured in the strike.

The base in Yavoriv also housed foreign mercenaries, around 180 of them were killed in the missile strike according to the Russian MoD.

The New York Times has released footage from the moment of the attack, featuring panicked voices of Americans in the background.

Mercenary: “Everyone died, the entire legion was exterminated.”

Thiago Rossi, an ex Brazilian soldier who was part of the so-called international legion of fighters in Ukraine, said that most of his foreign unit got wiped out in the Russian strike on the base in Yavoriv.

"There were soldiers from France, from all over Europe, from South Korea, Chile, USA, Canada, mercenaries from all over the world. Everyone died. It's over. The entire legion was exterminated with one missile. You have no idea what that's like. Thank God I got out."

After the strike, Rossi had a change of heart about fighting the Russians in Ukraine and decided to flee to Poland.

❗️ 3 Ukrainian military installations have been struck in the west of the country by Russian missiles in last few days, according to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

Kirby affirmed that a no-fly zone in Ukraine would not be considered, in order to avoid direct confrontation between the US and Russia.
